TuskXC2700 is a material that is specifically designed to simulate the properties of ABS.
Very large components can be realized through the combination of the properties of the thermoplastic resin with the default-free printing by SLA.
Components of this size would not be possible with the thermal process of FDM.
But also very small components can be achieved with this material as SLA has one of the best resolutions of the 3D printing.

Price calculation

Unfortunately TuskXC2700 can not be calculated automatically.
The price differs from very small to very large parts and also the manual effort must be included forlarge parts.

A good price for medium-sized parts is about 2 € /cm³. However, medium in this machine is approximately. 1 m length.


Typical usage

TuskXC2700 is used to produce injection molding prototypes that will later be injected in ABS.
TuskXC2700 can be shoring tests and perform stress tests. A common application of TuskXC2700 is in the automotive industry. Here, bumpers and instrument panels in full size are printed to make installation tests of new models.


Technology

TuskXC2700 parts are manufactured in the SLA process.
SLA means Steriolithographie and is the oldest and most mature 3D printing process.
Since working with UV sensitive liquid plastics and no thermals is used to SLA, not warp parts.



The procedure:

Your model is decomposed by a program into individual layers of 0.05 mm.
Now a plate lowered into a bath of resin..
On this record, a UV laser now starts to "draw the contours and shapes of the parts". In all places where the laser exposed the Resinbad, the material hardens.
Now the build platform lowers to a layer thickness down and a slide provides new material on its surface.
This process is repeated layer by layer to your component until it is ready.
During the construction process, your part rests on the insulators .
These are removed after the manuel merge operation and sanded.

Soft-touch Lackierung

Soft-touch Painted 3D printing in SLA

Soft-touch is a special type of painting. The surface feels very soft after painting and smoothed on.
SLA parts with soft-touch are by far the closest to injection-molded parts with regard to interface, look and feel.
The parts are sanded by hand, primed and painted leading to a perfect surface without visible construction stages.
You won't believe the product was printed here.

Polishing


After post-curing under a UV lamp and additional Cleaning, we can Polish SLA parts.

What is to be observed on polished models::

  • Models can be polished until at least a size of 10 x 10 x 10 mm.
  • Traces of insulators disappear here.
  • The post will take about 0.05 mm material on all surfaces.. Plan also something extra wall thickness.
  • Small details can disappear during this process.
  • The polishing service requires 2 extra Working days to the indicated delivery time.
  • Price: Polishing costs 30% of the part price as extra charge.

Painted models

Painted 3D printing

Of course you can also paint 3D models from TuskXC2700.
Here it is a grind, the parts not necessary, which makes the process more cost-effective and results in a high-gloss finish.

Coating

TuskXC2700 Parts can be wonderfully coated also.
In contrast to normal materials, these must not be covered with a conductive layer, as SLA parts are directly coated.
To do this, your model is sanded and then coated with your desired equipment. Here also a coating with as gold or silver is possible.
